About
Critter Creek is a 12-acre countryside boarding retreat in Kumeu, West Auckland, two minutes from the end of the Northwestern Motorway. Dogs choose from individual Hotel Suites — furnished with a human bed, dog bed, cosy blankets, toys, and a scenic balcony view — or size-tiered Motel Kennels for small, medium, or large breeds. Three fenced off-leash paddocks and a pine forest are available for play and exercise, and doggy daycare runs seven days a week. The entire team holds Pet First Aid certification.

I cannot thank Paula and her team enough for their help, we were doing renovations and needed long term stay for my two ragdolls and Critter Creek was perfect! My cats were safe and looked after, and I actually think they came out better socialized and friendly than when they went in! The price was incredibly reasonable too, when you consider the amount of work and care that goes in to looking after pets. Thank you so much!

We use the doggy day care service that Critter Creek offer, and have done so for many years. Paula and her team look after our Archie (dog) as if he was one of their own. I find the team outstanding and they take great care of the dogs and cats in their care. 100% recommend Critter Creek.

Can't recommend Critter Creek enough. They are so good with our blue heeler and understand her 'ball possessiveness' and other foibles. We always know we are leaving her in safe, true animal loving hands :)
